Meghan Markle's Onscreen Husband Patrick J Adams Returns to 'Suits' Without Her
For the cast and fans of the hit show, "Suits," it's not going to be business as usual as Duchess, Meghan Markle, who plays a major role of 'Rachel Zane' won't be returning to the show. After several speculations, co-star, Patrick J. Adams comes to clear the air on how the series would be going forward.
In a video interview which was released by Entertainment Tonight, Patrick who plays the role of Mike Ross revealed that Meghan's role would be addressed in the upcoming season.
The last episode which featured both Meghan and Patrick was in the series' 7th season. The finale recorded the actress, and her onscreen husband, Mike Ross receive employment offers in Seattle - a condition that left them speeding up their marriage.
"There are phone calls with Rachel saying, 'Goodbye, I love you"
During the interview, Adam disclosed that for his character Mike, it was an excellent chance for him to see his friends in the East Coast and that the couple was "building their life together."
While speaking about Meghan's role, Adam said:
"There are phone calls with Rachel saying, 'Goodbye, I love you," and he went further ahead to add that even though the Duchess was absent she remained "a part of the show."

This is also the first time Patrick J. Adams would be seen after leaving the show alongside Meghan after the last episode of Season 7. The actor would feature as a guest star to iterate his role as Mike Ross.
WILL PRINCE HARRY ALSO APPEAR IN THE NEW SEASON?
Previous seasons of the show have had partners of some of the major casts feature as guest acts. In 2012 and 2015, cast: Gabriel Macht (Harvey Spector) and Patrick J. Adams, respectively, had their lovers on the show.
This has left fans speculating if the Duke of Sussex would also grace their screens. However, Patrick, while speaking to HELLO! disclosed that the probability of it happening was low. He said:
“I can say probably not. I think he has more important things to do at the moment.”
Both Patrick and Meghan have gone on to build their own families since their last appearance on the show.
Meghan, now married to Prince Harry, gave birth to her first child, Archie in May and her co-star did well to congratulate her.
Patrick, on the other hand, has a daughter with his partner, Bellisario.
