After showing support for the US Women's Soccer team, former President Barack Obama was given a custom "Obama" jersey that he proudly showed off to the rest of his fans and followers on social media.

Former President Obama was proud to show everyone his custom jersey celebrating the U.S. Women's National Soccer team, who won the World Cup. According to the president, he was proud to "rep America's best team."

While he did not exactly wear the jersey, and he stuck to his signature suit and tie look that he's been sporting through the years, Barack made sure to let everyone know just how much he actually likes his jersey.

Showing their support

Before showing it off, he first congratulated the team on his Twitter account right when they won the championship.

He and Michelle Obama took to Twitter to congratulate the US Women's national team on their Fourth FIFA Women's World Cup last Sunday. The team defeated the Netherlands during their match in Lyon, France ending 2-0.

While Women's Football doesn't get as much attention as Men's, the Obamas made sure to let the US Women's National Team feel that they are loved. In fact, he even said they were the best team in the country.

An inspiration to all Americans

He and Michelle expressed how proud they are of the team, and said that they are an inspiration to other Americans who push themselves, and others, to be even better.

“Congrats @USWNT and thanks for being such a strong inspiration for women and girls—and everybody—all across the country.”

"So proud of you, Team USA - you inspire us all!"

Congratulations, Team USA!
