Will Smith's Hilarious Fatherly Advice to Son Jaden as They Toast 21st Birthday

Will Smith gave a hilarious and heartwarming speech at his son Jaden's 21st birthday party.

Jaden Smith turned 21, and his proud dad shared a video of his birthday party, at which he gave a heartwarming speech - with a lot of humor thrown in.

The party was at the family's Malibu, California home with lots of friends in attendance as well as Jaden's siblings, Trey and Willow.

JADEN'S BIRTHDAY ADVICE FROM DAD

Since Jaden was entering his majority, WIll felt compelled to pass on a piece of invaluable advice his own father had given him when he'ds come of age.

“I’ll tell you something my father told me on my 21st birthday. Never break two laws at one time. Because you increase your chances exponentially of getting caught for both. So only break one law at a time,” Will joked.

Jaden's party was surprisingly low-key and family-orientated, with lots of close friends in attendance and a traditional barbecue.

JADEN SMITH SHARED HIS FIRST LEGAL DRINK WITH HIS FAMILY

To celebrate Jaden's majority, and having reached the age at which he can legally have a drink, Will and Jada drank a toast with their son in tequila shots, which, Will joked, was how his son was conceived.

WILL SMITH'S TRIBUTE TO HIS SON

Even though Will's speech was redolent with his characteristic humor - he told Jaden he was taking him off his insurance and forwarding him his bills - the main focus of his address was a tribute to his son.

“I’m really proud of you, just the way that you’ve grown in the past few years is what parents hope for. You take it seriously to contribute to the human family. You just make us proud every single day. So, here’s to your 21st birthday today, and here’s to you being a full grown man,” he said.

A FAMILY CELEBRATION IN MALIBU

Jaden's party was surprisingly low-key and family-orientated, with lots of close friends in attendance and a traditional barbecue.

There was even a tussle with sister Willow over who was going to do the honors and slice the birthday cake.

One of the guests was Jaden’s childhood friend, Jordyn Woods, who has received unconditional support from the Smith family since her recent scandal involving Khloé Kardashian's baby-daddy, Tristan Thompson.

Will Smith's son Jaden celebrated his 21st birthday not by receiving gifts, but by giving to others.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's son celebrated his birthday by inaugurating a project he created to help feed some of Los Angeles' hungriest people - the homeless.

The young man has launched a new and innovative project in the form of a food truck that will provide free meals to the homeless called I Love You Restaurant.

The I Love You provides free vegan meals to the homeless in Los Angeles’ Skid Row, and more of the Restaurants will soon be on the city's streets.
