The Comedienne who was voted class clown and teachers worst nightmare at her Long Island’s South Side High School studied theatre at Towson University and took acting classes at  William Esper Studio when she moved to New York.

She learned the Meisner technique (an alternate acting approach which focuses on instinct unlike method acting) at the famed studio.

The talented actress even starred in Keeping Abreast, an off-Broadway a dark comedy play, about a young woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Despite Schumer risque public image, the new mom is fairly mindful of her health and what she puts in her body.
