Shaunie O'Neal's Ex Shaq Gets Close to Swimsuit-Clad Beauty on Yacht in Spain

One month after trying to kiss his ex-wife Shaunie and hinting at reconciliation, Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal has been spotted cuddling up to a mystery woman aboard a yacht in Spain.

The retired NBA star has been DJ-ing across Europe and on Wednesday, July 24, decided to blow off some steam with friends on a yacht, according to Daily Mail.

One particular companion, however, stands out in photos published by the outlet. The mystery woman, who left little to the imagination in a black string bikini, cuddled up to the 7-foot-1-inch man in several shots.

Shaq himself remained shirtless, donning only a pair of blue turtle-print shorts. At some point, he had his hand planted firmly on the mystery woman’s derriere before they both splashed around in the waters. Click here to see the photos.

DJ SHAQ

Shaq’s companion has not been identified, and it’s not sure if they met while the basketball legend was flexing his DJ skills at the Tomorrowland music festival in Belgium last week.

After thrilling the crowd in Belgium, the sports analyst jetted off to Croatia on Monday where he performed at the POW WOW Festival at the Noa Beach Club, TMZ reported.

GETTING UP-CLOSE WITH HIS EX

Shaq’s sighting with the mystery woman comes only a month after he was photographed trying to kiss his ex-wife, Shaunie. The family had gone to dinner in Beverly Hills when paparazzi approached them and Shaq, 47, pulled his stunt. Although Shaunie did her best to dodge the kiss, she was all-smiles.

FUELING RUMORS

The 15-time NBA All-Star further fueled speculations of the exes getting back together when he responded to a fan’s comment with a cryptic “That’s mine” in reference to Shaunie, 44.

Shaq seems to enjoy goofing around with his ex-wife, and if it’s a ploy to get people talking, it’s working. Back in March, a video of the former athlete trying to lick Shaunie’s face emerged, prompting fans to predict that they’ll soon be getting back together.

SHAUNIE'S STAND

Just as her ex continues to fuel speculation rumors, Shaunie also never hesitates to shut them down. During a 2018 interview with Life & Style, the “Basketball Wives” star said:

"People are always like, oh you guys should get back together — no, that’s not happening. We just are cool and we can function and we respect each other’s space and it’s good."

SHAQ & SHAUNIE'S PAST

Shaq and Shaunie’s marriage officially ended in 2011, nine years after their wedding and two years after she filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences amid allegations of infidelity on his part.

Shaq admitted to stepping out on his ex-wife several times in his 2011 memoir, “Shaq Uncut: My Story,” saying: “I was a guy with too many options. Choosing to be with some of those women, well, that's on me.”

MOVING ON

The Hall of Famer has since been romantically involved with various women including reality star Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander and model/lifestyle blogger Laticia Rolle. He was last linked to “Chicago Fire” actress, Annie Ilonzeh, 35, after they were spotted holding hands in January.

Shaunie, on the other hand, seems to enjoy being friends with Shaq and co-parenting their sons: Shareef, 19, and Shaqir, 15; daughters Amirah, 17 and Me’arah, 12, as well as her 21-year-old son Myles, from a previous relationship.

SHAQ'S FATHER'S DAY

Last month, the reality star proved that it’s all love and friendship between her and Shaq when she paid tribute to him in an Instagram post.

“Happy Father’s Day @shaq! Thank you for being an amazing father to our children, and my best friend! Our Co-Parenting journey has had highs and lows, but we’re doing it very well! We are grateful for you, so enjoy your day! #HappyFathersDay”

In the Life & Style interview quoted earlier, Shaunie did mention being able to tease Shaq about his relationships, so she’s probably not going to have any problems with photos of his latest mystery lady.
