Wendy Williams Drags Bow Wow after 'Distasteful' Ciara Remark While Singing 'Like You'

Wendy Williams tells Bow Wow, "What're you doing?" in response to the rapper's "distasteful" comments about Ciara in a video. Williams threw shade at Bow Wow too zooming in on an old photo of him and Ciara and noticing one laughable detail about the rapper.

Wendy Williams is clapping back on Ciara’s behalf over Bow Wow’s latest “distasteful” comments against his ex.

BOW WOW DISSES EX CIARA

Williams made it known during the July 24 episode of her show that Bow Wow’s comments in an old video that recently emerged were undesirable. In fact, the outspoken host tells the rapper, “I’m mad at you.”

Williams’ comments stemmed from weeks-old footage of the notorious rapper’s club appearance where he performs a song he and Ciara did in the past and then disses her by claiming he had her “first” while referring to her as a “b***”

Bow Wow and Ciara dated between 2004 and 2006 and were once rumored to be engaged. She has since married NFL star, Russell Wilson who shares a daughter with her.

WILLIAMS DEFENDS THE SINGER

Coming to Ciara’s defense, Williams, who advises the singer not to react, took it upon herself to slam Bow Wow instead.

“What’re you doing?” Williams asks the rapper through her show. She clarifies that she’s “not hating on” the “young man” but tells him, “So what?”

At one point she makes fun of an old photo of the rapper standing next to a towering Ciara.

Williams suggests Bow Wow could have gone about it the other way but opted to reveal his past with Ciara using poor words.

“It’s very distasteful. We’ve all had someone before… To be shirtless in a club and calling her a b***, you were so wrong for that,” Williams scolds.

She further castigates him by bringing up his past with Erica Mena. “Going from Ciara to Erica Mena— look at your track record, Bow."

SHE MAKES FUN OF BOW WOW

At one point she makes fun of an old photo of the rapper standing next to a towering Ciara. The camera zooms in on his feet seen on tiptoes in order to level up to his then-girlfriend. Williams had quite a laugh with it and so did her audience.

Bow Wow and Ciara dated between 2004 and 2006 and were once rumored to be engaged. She has since married NFL star, Russell Wilson who shares a daughter with her.

HER ADVICE TO RUSSELL AND CIARA

When a member of her audience asked if Russell should respond to Bow Wow’s comments against his wife, Williams opined, “No, Russell doesn’t need to do anything. Russell needs to be the civilized man that he is.” She also advises Ciara not to retaliate. “It’s not worth it,” she says.

WOULD CIARA DO THE SAME FOR WILLIAMS?

Ciara must be grateful she has a friend in Williams who will defend her when needed. If the tables were turned, we wonder if Ciara would do the same. For instance, would she go against Blac Chyna’s mother, Tokyo Toni who recently threatened Williams?

Toni went on an Instagram live tirade accusing Williams of lying about her and even exposed the talk show host for her cocaine abuse. Her accusations came in the heels of Williams comments about Toni's abusive parenting to Chyna which was featured on the latter’s new reality show.

Williams has not responded to the threat. Maybe she’s taking the advice she gave Ciara to stay mum because as she said, it’s not worth it.
