Melissa Gilbert gave fans a dose of nostalgia with throwback photos from her 1985 movie “Sylvester.”
The actress is seen flaunting a short hair in the series of photos that also features co-stars Richard Farnsworth and Michael Schoeffling.
Melissa Gilbert just reminded fans that she can rock any look with her recent Instagram post. The series of snapshots from the movie “Sylvester” features a young Gilbert with short hair and we must say, she carried the chic look pretty well.
In the first picture, Gilbert is seen standing in between her co-stars Richard Farnsworth and Michael Schoeffling. Accompanying the trio is Sylvester, the beloved bronco of Gilbert’s Charlie in the movie.
“Sylvester” revolves around Gilbert’s 16-year-old Charlie who struggles to raise her brother and trains Sylvester the horse to turn him into an eventing champion.
After reportedly outshining nearly 5000 girls who auditioned for the NBC drama series “Little House on the Prairie,” Gibert got to play the part of Laura Ingalls in the show.
Her memorable portrayal of Laura earned her a good name in the industry and she became the youngest actress to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Besides being a wonderful actress, Gilbert is a loving wife to her husband, Timothy Busfield and a mother to her sons, Dakota Brinkman and Michael Boxleitner.
While Dakota was born from Gilbert’s marriage to actor Bo Brinkman, Timothy was born when she was married to actor Bruce Boxleitner.
Previously, the actress posted a photo of her husband Timothy cooking for younger son Michael.
How lucky she is to have found herself a man who can cook!
Gilbert and Busfield have been married for six years. The couple tied the knot on April 2013 and they love each other immensely.
