Apollo Nida is out of prison again after being tossed back in last month. The former husband of Phaedra Parks must have done something good to earn a second chance at an early release.

NIDA SNAGS EARLY RELEASE

Nida surprised Parks and their children when he was released ahead of schedule in early June. His freedom came with the restriction that he had to live in a halfway house for the remainder of his prison term which was supposed to end on October 15 after his sentence was reduced by a year.

Nida was convicted for mail, wire, and bank fraud back in 2014 and was sentenced to 96 months in prison. That sentence was reduced by a year in March.

HE GETS THROWN BACK TO JAIL

Nine days following his release, Nida was sent back to prison for allegedly violating the terms of his parole. The technical violation was reportedly in relation to his fiancée Sherilyn Almufti who spent the night in his halfway house despite strict rules against it.

The turn of events disappointed his two sons with Parks who were looking forward to Father’s Day with him. Nida didn’t make it that far because he was back behind bars two days before the occasion.

NIDA GETS A SECOND CHANCE

Now it seems Nida earned himself a second chance with a report from The Blast revealing he’s been transferred back to a halfway house in Philadelphia. His new lease on freedom also came with an extension of his release date which has now been set for November 26 according to prison records.

HIS SENTENCE WAS PREVIOUSLY REDUCED

HE INTENDS TO MARRY AFTER FULFILLING HIS SENTENCE

Nida and Almufti have been engaged since 2017, shortly after the convicted star’s divorce with Parks was finalized. The engaged couple expressed their intention to marry as soon as Nida secures his freedom. In fact, Almufti already went bridal gown shopping during her appearance on "Say Yes To The Dress" last year.
