Meghan Markle’s Pre-Royal LA Home Is on Sale for $1.8 Million

Meghan Markle’s former home in Los Angeles is reportedly for sale. It’s the same home she shared with her ex-husband before moving to Canada.

Before she became the Duchess of Sussex and even before she moved to Toronto for the filming of “Suits,” Meghan Markle was a resident of Los Angeles living close to Tinseltown.

She owned a 4-bedroom colonial home near Hancock Park, a home she also used to share with her first husband, Trevor Engelson between 2011 to 2013.

There is reason to believe that the 2000 square foot home is now up for sale. According to TMZ, interested buyers can own it for $1.8 million and it’s currently listed with Los Angeles real estate agency, The Bienstock Group.

It’s unclear if Meghan still owns the property but it’s more likely she doesn’t. However, it’s been reported that she and Harry are planning to buy a home in Los Angeles so baby Archie could have a place to live close to his grandmother, Doria Ragland.

The property which is located in the mid-Wilshire/Miracle Mile area has a living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a family room and a fully-equipped kitchen with a small breakfast area.

The two-story home houses all bedrooms on the second floor including the master’s suite that has its own bathroom. Two other bathrooms are located elsewhere in the house. It also has an alfresco dining area with a patio and lounging area for entertaining guests.

IN SEARCH OF A NEW HOME IN LOS ANGELES

It’s unclear if Meghan still owns the property but it’s more likely she doesn’t. However, it’s been reported that she and Harry are planning to buy a home in Los Angeles so baby Archie could have a place to live close to his grandmother, Doria Ragland.

It’s also possible the couple will be spending a lot of time in the US since Harry is currently working on a project with Oprah Winfrey. He’s reportedly collaborating with the network owner for a television series centering on mental health.

Moreover, the Duke and Duchess are allegedly planning a tour of the US and Canada and one of their stops will be in Los Angeles. By that time, maybe they’ll have a home to call their own in the city.

But before that, they’ll be going on their first official tour as a family of three to South Africa. The couple announced this on their personal Instagram account.

Harry will be doing most of the touring but Meghan and Archie will be tagging along. The short trip will reportedly happen later this year.
