Ciara Named Creative Director for Finish Line's Nike & Jordan Kids Fall Collection
Ciara’s “Level Up” game is strong! The singer and mama-of-two recently announced her new role as the creative director for Finish Line’s Nike/Jordan Kids fall collection, and it's a dream come true.
Ciara has been on a roll in the last couple of months, and the most recent in that long list of achievements will see her displaying her fashion expertise.

CHILDHOOD DREAM
The 33-year-old singer is stoked about being the creative director for the athletic wear retailer’s Nike/Jordan collection and said as much in a statement to PEOPLE.
“It’s a dream come true to be able to express my creativity in fashion through legendary brands,” Ciara told the outlet, adding:
“I remember as a kid waiting in line at Finish Line to get the newest sneakers, so to have the opportunity to see my creative vision on those same shelves is a reminder no dream is too big. I can’t wait to infuse mine and my family’s style and energy into this process.”

CIARA AT HARVARD
Ciara’s latest achievement comes two months after she completed a course at the Harvard Business School. The “Level Up” singer previously took to social media to share her gratitude at being accepted into the prestigious institution.
“I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thankful for,” she gushed. “This week, I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement!”
MAKING NEW MUSIC
In May, Ciara also released her seventh album “Beauty Marks” under the self-owned label Beauty Marks Entertainment which she launched in February.
In less than two weeks, “Beauty Marks” had sold more than 135,000 equivalent album units globally and had over 208 million views on YouTube, according to the singer.

A PAINFUL PAST
No doubt, the “Goodies” hitmaker has come a long way from the days of being a distraught single mom who endured a messy split with her ex-fiancé and baby daddy, rapper Future.
The former couple welcomed their son, Future Jr., in May of 2014 and split three months later. Ciara has opened up previously about how heartbreaking that time of her life was, but only ten months later, everything changed when she met Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson.

BETTER DAYS
Ciara and Russell tied the knot in July of 2016 and celebrated their daughter Sienna’s arrival nine months later. Reflecting on her journey in a cover feature for ESSENCE last month, the singer noted:
“When I was younger and wanting things to happen when I wanted them to happen, I could never have imagined that 15 years later I’d be having the time of my life.”

HER SECRET WEAPON
“My faith has carried me through every challenge and triumph,” Ciara added.
We can’t wait to see what Ciara cooks up in her new office as the creative director for Finish Line’s Nike/Jordan Kids fall collection.
Congratulations, Ci-Ci!
