WHEN LIFE THROWS YOU LEMONS
After getting a glimpse of the album, including the excerpt from the 8th track, “Bluebird,” November seems decades away, and a long time to wait to get the full dose of the track.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 35-year-old opened up about the inspiration behind the track. She termed the song her little way of utilizing the sour lemons thrown at her by life itself to make lemonades. But, with the record, she not only made drinks out of the bitter feast but topped the alcohol content to make it fit her perfectly.
She told EW:
“That’s what I do.”
She added:
“You can’t stay in the moment that’s not good for you. If you keep missing, you have to just keep trying, and you know, also Cheetos help, so we’re good.”
THE “WILD CARD” ALBUM
Aside the acclaimed favourite track, other tracks that make up the album include, “White Trash,” “Mess With My Head,” “It All Comes Out In The Wash,” “Settling Down,” “Holy Water,” “Locomotive,” “Dark Bars,” and some other mindblowing tracks that featured the likes of Maren Morris.
Songwriters, Dick and Hemby also take credit for the success of the album, and its many beautiful lyrics.
It can be recalled that the country singer released an album in 2016 titled, “The Weight Of These Wings” which won her the Academy of Country Music Award as the album of the year.
The album was released a year after her divorce from Blake Shelton, and since then, the singer has bagged several awards and recorded trailblazing achievements.
Hopefully, this new album would be as captivating as the first.
