Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes Call It Quits after Six Years of Dating: Report

After six secretive years together, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have finally called it quits according to multiple sources.

Power couple Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are not together anymore, and the news of their split was first revealed by Page Six. According to the publication, things between the lovebirds ended in May.

However, the gist began making rounds when the Oscar Winner was pictured with parting with singer Sela Vave in Los Angeles on Friday night.

As revealed by a spy who overheard the actress chatting, Holmes told a pal she wasn't bothered by the news of Holmes and Sela as "they haven't been together in months."

An anonymous source also confirmed the split to Entertainment Tonight saying that it appears that they have broken up. However, a chance of reconciliation should not be ruled out.

The insider explained that Holmes and Foxx never had a traditional kind of relationship.

"They have always been incredibly independent, and their lives didn't revolve around each other. They lived separately and in different cities and saw each other occasionally, the source noted."

Foxx and Holmes were first linked in 2013, a year after her split from Tom Cruise. Their relationship was kept extremely private until their first public appearance in 2018 at the Clive Davis' Pre-GRAMMY'S gala.

Their first red carpet appearance at was the MET Gala in May, and that officially announced their relationship.

As reported by TMZ, Foxx was seen on Friday night stepping out of a night club in Los Angeles while holding hands with Sela.

The younger singer was dressed in a skimpy gold dress as she held on the Jamie while they dodged the paparazzi.

An insider explained to PEOPLE that Sela is Foxx's newest artist and that he is only helping her out with her music.

Their outing was not the first time that both of them were seen together. Sometime in June, Sela shared a rather cozy photo of her and the "Fall For Your Type" crooner with a heartwarming caption that read:

"I am so grateful to this man! Thank you so much @iamjamiefoxx for everything you do and for believing in me."
