A season 27 contestant on “Dancing with the Stars” recently opened up about the things that happen behind the scenes on the show. The former contestant revealed that people got together in the dance competition.

Comedienne Nikki Glaser is a former contestant on “Dancing with the Stars (DWTS)” who was eliminated during the first live show of the competition. Last Thursday, she appeared on David Spade’s “On Lights Out With David Spade.”

There she spilled the beans about some behind the scenes action that went on during the show. She shared that a number of the cast members actually got romantically involved on the ABC dance competition.

Glaser gave the confession while Spade and the rest of his panel were discussing the newly named contestants for the upcoming season 28. She started off by complaining about being voted off first.

"It's like being on 'The Bachelor.'"

The comedienne described the moment as "truly one of the worst moments of my entire life." She explained that she took the elimination hard because she’d taken the show "so seriously."

The talk show’s host then asked Glaser to share some secrets that fans of the dance competition might not know, and she responded: "Everyone's [expletive] each other." The comedienne had been paired with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko during her participation.

While Spade was a bit surprised by the revelation Glaser added: "Everyone. I mean it always comes out, one couple fell in love. ... It's multiply that, it's more than that." During her season model, Alexis Ren and her professional partner Alan Bersten were said to have bonded in a deeper way than just an ordinary friendship.

However, the pair never took their relationship beyond the dance show. Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev also began seeing each other after their season had come to an end.

Their relationship flourished officially after Bella’s engagement to John Cena ended. Glaser, however, implied that more cast members hooked up than what people got to see.

She explained how the hookups occurred saying:

"It is real, it's like being on 'The Bachelor,' like it is so intense. You're dancing with someone for six hours a day for a month leading up to the first show."

Season 28 of “DWTS” will feature “Queer Eye's” Karamo Brown, country star Lauren Alaina, “Dawson Creek's” James Van Der Beek, NFL legend Ray Lewis, “The Office's” Kate Flannery, and “The Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown.

Popstar Ally Brooke, NBA alum Lamar Odom, actor Kel Mitchell, former White House staff member Sean Spicer, The Supremes' Mary Wilson, and model Christie Brinkley will all compete for the Mirrorball Trophy.

Over the years, the dance competition has been responsible for some flings and long-term relationships. A couple who found love on the show was “Shark Tank” star Robert Herjavec and his professional partner Kym Johnson.

The two dance partners fell for each other during season 20 in 2015. On the season premiere, the pair were seen cuddling and promptly got engaged in February the following year before getting and married later.

“Dancing with the Stars” is set to premiere on September 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
