Lela Rochon Returned to Instagram Wearing Her Wedding Ring after Antoine Fuqua's Cheating Scandal
Lela Rochon is back to social media after the infamous alleged cheating scandal involving her husband Antoine Fuqua and Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife Nicole.
Rochon, 55, deactivated her Instagram account in July after photos of Fuqua locking lips with Nicole surfaced online.
In her first photo since reactivating the page, Rochon poses in the sun with a scenic backdrop while making sure to keep her wedding ring where everyone can see it.
“God is Good,” wrote the actress who looked relaxed in a black dress and colorful wrap.
FIRST SIGHTING
Rochon seems to be confirming the subtle message she passed across in August when she stepped out for an event, smiling and flashing her wedding ring.
When someone asked on the red carpet how she was doing, the actress, who has been Fuqua’s wife for 20 years, reportedly replied: “Happily married.”

A BIG INDISCRETION
That was the first public outing Rochon would make since her movie director hubby put their family in the news for the wrong reasons. Nearly two months ago, Rochon, who is notoriously private, saw her love life come under scrutiny after Fuqua’s sighting with Nicole in Italy.

In more than one image, the “Olympus Has Fallen” director and Nicole shared lip kisses while lounging poolside at a hotel in Italy. Fuqua and Rochon maintained silence, even deactivating their social media accounts, but Nicole, 51, initially claimed her encounter with the married man was just “a friendly hello.”
After days of enduring backlash and LisaRaye McCoy accusing her of going after her ex-husband while they were married, Nicole backtracked and offered an apology.
“Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired,” she began, adding:
“It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in anyway [sic] inappropriately with a married man. I too was once married and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written.”

Fuqua, 53, and the “Waiting To Exhale” star share two children: daughter Asia, 17, and son Brando, 15, while the film director also has a son from a previous relationship.
There’s been no word yet from Fuqua about his “kiss” with Nicole, but Rochon seems to be dropping enough hints with her constant ring-flashing.
