Kez is Nia's son from her relationship with her longtime partner Ime. Udoka Ime is a former assistant coach of the San Antonio Spurs. Xonecole reports that the pair started got engaged in 2015 when Nia was 44 years old. Rumors of their engagement began when the "Boyz n the Hood" star was spotted wearing a sparkly diamond on her ring finger.
But neither Nia nor Ime made any public announcements concerning the big news. The duo was linked for over five years before rumors of their engagement surfaced online. While Nia has another son from a previous relationship, Kez is the current assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers' first child.
NIA LONG'S RELATIONSHIP WITH STARS
Although the mother of two rose to fame after her appearance in "Boyz n the Hood," it was her role as "Lisa Wilkes" on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" that cemented her stardom. From then on, the 48-year-old became a household name and a favorite amongst comedy and romantic enthusiasts.
But fame isn't the only thing the actress got out of the TV show as Bustle claims that the show also earned her a friendship with co-star Will Smith. During an interview with the media outlet, Nia said:
"Will Smith is a comedic genius. Will and I have a very special friendship because of that show, and I've learned so much [as an actor] from him."
Nia's character on the show was one of the only women who could get Will's character into getting married and settling down.
