'Dawson's Creek' Actress Katie Holmes Stuns in White Socks & Heels for Fendi Show at MFW 2019

On Thursday, actress Katie Holmes was seen at the Fendi Spring 2020 show. The star looked stunning in an interesting choice of clothes that featured a growing trend.

Former “Dawson’s Creek” actress Katie Holmes, 40, was one of the celebrities who attended the Milan Fashion Week. She wore a red patent leather-trimmed blazer with a printed red Fendi dress that came below her knees.

The star added a large pair of sunglasses and a blue top-handle Fendi bag. However, there was one particular element to her fashion choice that stood out – what she wore on her feet.

Holmes wore a pair of sheer polka-dot Fendi socks that blended into her bowed slingback heels. She coordinated her shoes and hosiery perfectly.

They both featured a pattern made out of calligraphy from the label’s former creative director, Karl Lagerfeld. Holmes’ dress was also printed with Lagerfeld’s lettering.

She wore her brunette hair in loose soft waves and kept her makeup simple. The actress took to social media to share a few pictures of her daring look.

The star was photographed sitting in the front row at the runway show. She was placed next to Fendi's CEO Serge Brunschwig whom she was photographed with.

Holmes captioned one of her Instagram images writing: “I am so grateful to have attended such a beautiful show @fendi … #mfw2019.” The runway was filled with famous faces like Kaia Gerber, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner.

The “Keeping up with the Kardashian” star is also one of the celebrities who’ve made a go at the sock and sandal trend. At the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, Jenner paired her strappy Jimmy Choo sandals with $17 Wolford socks.

KiKi Layne, Kanye West, and Rihanna have all given the socks-and-sandals trend a try as well.

Despite the rumors of a break-up between her and actor Jamie Foxx, Holmes appeared to be in a good mood at the fashion show. The pair was allegedly dating for 6 years but they never publicly or officially confirmed the rumors.
