Goldie Hawn Shares the Sweetest Photo of Granddaughter Rani Rose Who Just Turned One
Goldie Hawn was elated as she wished her granddaughter Rani Rose a Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday, Rani Rose!
Earlier this week, Kate Hudson's daughter Rani Rose reached a milestone by celebrating her first birthday. She commented on the post her mother shared showing off the adorable tot.
Sunflowers and rose emojis were all she needed to say thank you for the sweet message Goldie wrote. Her post is found below.
Goldie, 73, shared a smiling photo of Rani Rose perched in front of a white fence. Her eyes shone and she appeared to be clapping her hands as she smiled.

Baby Rani was well-dressed for the occasion
The one-year-old wore a red-flowered dress with poofy sleeves. Kate shares her daughter with musician and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa. The pair have been dating since early 2017.
In the caption of her post, Goldie wrote:
"Happy 1st birthday to my granddaughter Rani Rose Fujikawa. Our new little princess flower who makes us jump for joy."
Hudson celebrated her daughter's birthday as well by sharing a sweet video of the little one sitting in a car seat wearing a white turban and a onesie.
Later, she held up the child and played with her while preparing to have a meal. "And what a year it's a been. A big Happy 1st Birthday to Rani Rose," she captioned the post.
Goldie was right there for her granddaughter's birth
Kate also has two sons, Ryder, 15, and Bingham, eight, with ex-partners Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy. Rani Rose is Goldie's sixth grandchild.
"The Christmas Chronicles" actress was reportedly there for the birth of the little girl last October. When Kate and Goldie guest-hosted on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" back in January, they shared the story.
Kate even said that while she was giving birth, a doctor joked with Goldie that she would fall in if she got too close. Meanwhile, host Ellen was behind stage taking care of Rani.
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are both grandparents
Goldie and her longtime partner Kurt Russell both shared the joy when they welcomed Rani Rose together. Russell has been stepfather to Kate for decades now.
When Rani Rose was born, he was right by Goldie's side as the pair showed off the new family addition. In one particular photo taken last December, the pair melted hearts as they cuddled with the newborn.
Goldie stood with her legs rested on the edge of a bed as she held onto little Rani Rose. Next to her, Russell leaned in to touch the newborn's tiny head as they both looked lovingly down at her.
Fun Facts about Goldie Hawn
Goldie loves her big family, but she's better known by fans for her long-running career as an actress. Not many know that she actually might have been a country singer and recorded a self-titled album.
The "Death Becomes Her" actress also could have been a dancer. She was enrolled in ballet and tap dance lessons at just three years old. At 10, she was in "The Nutcracker."
Later, Goldie would major in drama at American University. In fairytale fashion, she went on to star as Juliet in a 1961 production of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet."

Her other grandchildren
Back in July, Goldie's son Oliver Hudson also celebrated the birthday of daughter Rio Hudson. Of course, Goldie shared her well-wishes in the comment section of the post.
The photo Oliver posted featured Rio wrapped up in his arms and gazing sweetly up at her smiling dad. Goldie called Rio her "lightness of being" and said the picture made her cry.
Oliver also has two sons, Wilder Hudson and Bodhi Hawn. He shares all three children with wife Erinn Bartlett. The large Hudson family's close-knit bond is certainly one to admire.
