Evelyn Lozada of 'Basketball Wives' Addresses Racist & Bigot Claims
Following an eventful past couple of days, Evelyn Lozada decided to set the record straight, opening up about claims that she's racist and a bigot.
"Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada is in a big fight with her co-star Ogom "OG" Chijindu, and it led to allegations of Lozada being racist.
After her name being entangled in so many things, Evelyn Lozada cried foul and decided to file a lawsuit against Chijindu for defamation.
"Besides, last time I looked in the mirror I was a woman of color–who has to more often than not, navigate through unchartered “real life” discrimination."

The Real Deal
Now, she opened up to Bossip about what's been happening in the past few weeks, and how she's rising above it.
She opened up her interview by saying she's been pegged as a "bully" on their hit reality TV show. Lozada says that her outspokenness was misunderstood as bullying. However, she also admits that she hopes to be better.
" I’ve thought long and hard about this and concluded that there is a difference in how my directness and candor is received by those I personally know and those I don’t. I will do better…”
On The Topic of Racism
When asked about whether or not she's racist, she says that she isn't, as she's a black woman herself.
"For anyone to call me a racist or a bigot against my own people is simply bananas and misinformed. 90% of the people I work with are people of color and 98% are women. And the same numbers, if not higher apply to my personal businesses. Besides, last time I looked in the mirror I was a woman of color–who has to more often than not, navigate through unchartered “real life” discrimination. Addressing false claims about racism and bigotry seems to be a waste of valuable time. I’ll just leave it there.”
Evelyn Vs. OG
Just a couple of days ago, it was revealed that Lozada filed a case against OG for defamation, as she's lost several endorsement deals after being called "racist."
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, Lozada claims that Ogom "OG" Chijindu called her a racist bigot on social media, which caused her to lose money from endorsement deals.
Now that her Bossip interview came out, though, she says she's willing to make amends with OG, but that would all depend on her co-star. For now, she'll act the same way she's treated.
