EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT
Back in February, Hallmark already announced that they would show a Christmas movie every Friday night, all year long.
Then the company excited viewers even more by announcing that there would be 40 new films starting in October, starring Candace Cameron Bure, Erin Krakow, Dolly Parton, and other favorites.
Last year, Hallmark aired 38 films, to the delight of Christmas movie fans.
Some surprises this year include films starring Kathie Lee Gifford, Adrian Grenier, and Patti LaBelle.
NEARLY 200 MOVIES AIRED
Hallmark’s lineup of Christmas films this year ranges from happily-ever-afters to blast-from-the-past, long-lost high school sweethearts to holiday homecomings.
Aside from Hallmark Channel making provisions for 24 of these holiday movie delights, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is also working on the debut of the other 16 movies.
Both owners of Crown Media Holdings, the two industries have successfully aired 176 Christmas movies since debuting in 2014 and 2008, respectively.
