Billy Baldwin of 'Northern Rescue' Posts Touching Tribute to Son Vance as He Turns 18

Actor Billy Baldwin took to Instagram to pen down an emotional tribute to his son, Vance Baldwin, who recently turned eighteen.

Vance Baldwin officially became an adult, and his father, Billy Baldwin, was on hand to celebrate him with a lovely message on Instagram.

In the post, Billy shared ten photos showing some memorable moments in Billy's life, including a couple that showed him displaying his basketball skills.

In the caption to the post, the proud father showered praises on his son, writing:

"Happy 18th B-Day to this guy…@vazsers [a lot of emojis] You're the man Vance… Amazing son, beloved bro, trusted friend, tough as nails… heart a gold. What an amazing story you are writing!! #WarHorse #VBCrew."

Many of Billy Baldwin's followers commented on the post, including his wife, Chynna, whose comment reads:

"Oh my boy!!!!!!!! 18!!!!!! How?????? I love thee with all my heart and soul son."

There was also a comment from Vance's cousin, Ireland Basinger-Baldwin, who shares the same birthday with him. In her comment, she wrote:

"Birthday twins [red heart emoji]."

There were also birthday posts from Chynna and Billy's brother, actor Alec Baldwin on their Instagram pages. In Chynna's post, she shared an old photo of Vance from when he was a kid, and added a loving caption, writing:

"Happy 18th birthday to my heart and my life. We love and cherish you Vance!"

In Alec Baldwin's post, he shared a picture of Billy and Vance, which he cropped out from his brother's Instagram post, and captioned it by wishing his nephew a happy birthday.

It is good news to see Vance celebrating a new year given the revelation by Billy that Vance was diagnosed with cancer last year.

In an Instagram post, the father of three revealed that Vance had been battling the dreaded disease in the past year, but that the family chose to keep it quiet. However, Vance is now clean of cancer, as he also revealed in a post on his Instagram page.
