Evelyn Braxton of 'Braxton Family Values' Wishes Happy Birthday to Rarely Seen Grandson Mike Braxton

Opera singer, Evelyn Braxton took to Instagram to celebrate her handsome grandson, Mike, on his birthday.

Evelyn Braxton, best known as the mother of the "Another Sad Love Song" singer, Toni Braxton, wished her grandson, Mike Braxton, a happy birthday on social media.

EVELYN'S BIRTHDAY MESSAGE

The seventy-one-year-old opera singer shared the birthday message, alongside a photo of the two men in her life, her only son, Michael Conrad Braxton, and her handsome grandson, Mike.

The resemblance between both men was striking, as they posed together for the selfie, dressed in simple outfits. While Michael wore a plain top, his son donned a blue sports vest, with the number five written on it, and a pair of black earrings.

As her birthday goodwill, the mother of six captioned:

"I would like to wish a happy belated birthday to my handsome and smart grandson, @michaelcbraxtoniii MomMom loves you sooo much ＃LookAtGod."

FANS JOINED IN THE BIRTHDAY FEST

Fans of the singer joined in the celebration, also sending their wishes to the Braxtons.

THE BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES THRIVE HARD

When it comes to turning up to celebrate each other, the Braxtons sure have it, as they are always at the forefront of every important event, ready to sound the lute for the next family celebrant.

Mother's day this year brought another round of celebration for the celebrity family, and Evelyn was on the receiving end. The 71-year old's second daughter, Tamar Braxton, made the occasion a memorable one for the family matriarch with her show of love on social media.

"My boo is everything that I ever want to be and more!!! We are so blessed to have you as our mom and best friend @evelynbraxton. Happy birthday to the best mom PERIODT," the excited daughter captioned the post, also showing off a lookalike picture of herself and her mom.

A FAMILY OF SINGERS

Aside from the innate desire to celebrate each other, the star-studded family has something else in common, which is their passion for music.

Although the most famous of the sisters is the fifty-one-year-old Toni Braxton, they all started out together, adopting the brand name, The Braxtons.

Toni's younger sister, Trina, recently showed off her singing prowess, posting a video of her and her mom doing karaoke of "Another Sad Love Song."

Both women were amazing, but the matriarch easily stole the show, making sure fans knew exactly where the Braxton kids got their singing genes.

A MOMENT OF TRAGEDY

It hasn't always been all-celebration for the family of singers. The star family experienced a tragedy in April when the opera singer lost her 24-year-old granddaughter, Lauren. Once again, they turned up in their numbers, but this time, to bid the 24-year-old her final farewell.

As reported by E-News, the cause of death was revealed two months later, as heroin overdose and Fentanyl intoxication. It has been a difficult road, but the family has since adapted to the shocking reality of Lauren's departure.
