Taylor Swift Feigns Disappointment at Meeting Blake Shelton instead of Blake Lively on 'The Voice'
Taylor Swift just showed off her trolling game as she stood right next to Blake Shelton and pretended to mistake him for Blake Lively.
"Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift will be returning to "The Voice" as this season's mega mentor to the contestants. She joins hosts Gwen Stefan, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton.
Swift, however, was of the impression that the Blake she'd be working with was actress Blake Lively — or so she pretended to think in a hilarious video which she tweeted on Monday. The clip is found below.

Taylor Swift knows how to be a comedian
In the short clip, the 29-year-old singer super-imposed a cat filter onto her and Shelton. "Here we are at 'The Voice,' " she announced. Shelton then remarked on the mascara he now had on his eyes.
"That's one of the perks of being a cat," Swift joked. She then added: "I'm here with Blake Lively and it's a wonderf — Oh it's not Blake Lively." It's hard to believe that Swift would make that mistake.

In the caption, she continued the jest:
"I was promised Lively But Shelton is cool too. SO excited to be on @NBCTheVoice with @blakeshelton tonight at 8/7c!"
The pop superstar will be a mega mentor for a second time
Although we didn't see his reaction, we're sure Shelton didn't take the joke to heart. In fact, he shared the clip to his own Instagram stories.
The country superstar is busy worrying about his new team as he prepares for the knockout rounds on the show. For Swift, it's her second time on "The Voice" after her first run as a mega mentor in season seven.
Soon after the announcement that Swift would be joining the reality show, news came that Stefani was set to leave at the end of this season.

Gwen Stefani will be gone from the panel next year
Country Living reported that the "Hollaback Girl" singer will be replaced by Nick Jonas in season 18. Stefani, who just came on for season 17, is in a relationship with Shelton. As a result, the news may surprise some.
According to the site, Stefani's dismissal is simply a part of a constant rotation of judges on the show. It also allows the singer to keep her career busy.
While she's on, fans are enjoying the friendly banter between Shelton and his girlfriend. For instance, earlier this month the two went head-to-head as they vied to coach Vance Joy.
Stefan and Shelton play fight on the show
On the show, Shelton said he had a dilemma because if Joy chose him, Stefani would be mad and he'd be in trouble later. Well, Joy went on to choose his girlfriend.
Shelton continued the squabble on Twitter writing, "How do I feel right about now? Betrayed. Bewildered. And beyond happy @GwenStefani got Brennen! #VoiceBlinds."
Soon after, fans learned that Stefani would not be on the next season of the show. New episodes of "The Voice" air on NBC on Mondays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST.
