Salma Hayek of 'Grown Ups' Apologizes for Posting Swimsuit Picture with Wrong Caption about Turtles

Salma Hayek made an apology on social media but no one seems to care about her mistake. After all, she had blessed them with gorgeous pics.

When someone's this good looking, it's amazing what they can get away with. Salma Hayek's recent social media mistake was not even close to being on a level of needing forgiveness.

Earlier this week, the 53-year-old actress posted a couple of shots as she enjoyed the outdoors in nothing but a two-piece bikini. The posts are found below.

In the first, Hayek sits on the grass with her legs crossed and her arms wrapped around her knees. She looks off into the distance with her hair let loose.

Hayek captioned the shot with: "I like #turtles on the beach." She included a Spanish version of the same sentence. Not many in the comments seemed to address the words.

However, when Hayek posted another steamy shot of herself on the grass in front of some sand the next day, they took notice. Especially when Hayek pointed out her error.

She wrote:

Oops... I posted the right caption but the wrong picture without the #turtle #ISuckAtSocialM."

Again, most people praised Hayek for showing off her youthful looks in the two-piece set. They also saw the small turtle that walked in front of her as she lay sprawled on the grass.

Still, few people acknowledged Hayek's apparent error. If they did, they dismissed it and went on to compliment her. Among her admirers was British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful.

The "Frida" star is typically seen rocking her natural dark hair, but late last month she proved she could pull off another color — and that she had a great sense of humor.

Hayek shared a funny shot of her and Ryan Reynolds, who had recently celebrated his birthday. In the pic, she wore a blonde wig which showed off her features in a way we rarely see.

The "Desperado" star teased Reynolds in her caption. She began: "Yes, Ryan, I am using your birthday to post this picture where I don’t look so bad, while you look all beat up."

Reynolds, of course, still looked good in the snap, but he's got nothing on the "From Dusk Till Dawn" stunner who is clearly proving that age is just a number.

Back in September, Hayek shared more bikini photos one day ahead of her birthday. This time, the tiny bottom left little to the imagination as Hayek's curves were even more highlighted.

The sassy actress wrote in the caption. "Yes, tomorrow I'm 53. So!?" She stood on the beach wearing sunglasses. Indeed, who cares how old she is. We sure don't.
