Keanu Reeves of 'John Wick' Shows PDA as He Holds Hands with Artist Alexandra Grant on the LACMA Art + Film Gala Red Carpet

Keanu Reeves broke his standard no PDA rule with the artist, Alexandra Grant, whom he held hands with at the LACMA Art + Film Gala red carpet event.

Keanu Reeves showed PDA with artist Alexandra Grant while attending the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) + Film Gala red carpet event in L.A., California.

In a photo shared by People on Twitter, Reeves dressed in a "John Wick" dark-looking outfit held hands with Grant, who wore floor-length midnight blue gown, with silver flats, as they walked the red carpet.

The unusual act by the actor dubbed "The internet boyfriend" caught the attention of a lot of people, with Travon Free, tweeting alongside a photo of the two,

"Saw the photo and legit thought Keanu Reeves was dating Helen Mirren. Which I also would have supported."

The PDA display is shocking because the "Matrix" star has a reputation for attending red carpet events with only family and close friends, and avoids any form of bodily contact.

Also, his outing with the artist speaks to a serious romantic relationship, something Reeves has not had since he lost, Jennifer Syme, in 2001.

The "The Devil's Advocate" star, and Syme had a stillborn child in '99, which led to the end of their relationship long before her death, although they remained friends. These two losses remain two of the greatest, Keanu, who got abandoned by his father at a young age, has suffered in his life.

Despite the pain Reeves has endured, he is famous for being a great philanthropist, who goes out of his way to help others, including taking pay cuts in movies so that other actors can get featured.

The "Speed" star's relationship with Grant started on a platonic note. Before things got romantic between the two, they collaborated on Reeves poetry books, "Ode to Happiness" and "Shadows," with the artist providing the illustrations.

The actor and the artist, co-own the publishing house, X Artist Books. Back in June, they got photographed on a night out in Los Angeles, and with the red carpet PDA display, it seems Reeves is ready to love publicly again.
