Michael Strahan of GMA Shares Sweet Tribute to Oldest Daughter Tanita on Her Birthday

Michael Strahan's beautiful grown-up daughter graced her father's Instagram on her 27th birthday. His sweet tribute revealed their closeness and his pride for his "first baby."

Michael Strahan’s eldest child and daughter, Tanita Strahan turned 27 and it was a milestone the former NFL star marked with a special tribute.

A LITTLE ABOUT TANITA AND MICHAEL'S RELATIONHIP

Tanita was born in Germany in 1992, the same year her German mother, Wanda Hutchins married Michael. They welcomed their second child, Michael Anthony Strahan, Jr. in 1995 before calling it quits the following year.

Because Michael moved back to the US after his divorce from Wanda, there was a period he missed while Tanita was growing up with her mother.

But that didn’t become an obstacle for Michael to forge a bond with Tanita as well as her brother. In fact, he’s been very vocal in the past about his closeness to his children including his twins with his second ex-wife, Jean Mugli.

In 2016, Michael told People that his four kids were “very close.” He also opened up about how involved he was in Tanita and Michael’s lives even when distance kept them apart.

“From day one, it was very important for me to be active, to be a part of their life,” he said. “I was constantly on planes and phones. And it’s very hard – of course it’s hard with them being in Germany. But one thing I learned is, you make time for what you want to make time for.”

A SPECIAL TRIBUTE ON HER BIRTHDAY

Time is what Michael devoted to Tanita when he recently paid tribute to her on her 27th birthday. A lovely selfie of father and daughter graced the “Strahan, Sara, and Keke” host’s Instagram with a sweet caption that read,

“Happy birthday to my first baby, @tanita.st! So proud of you and keep lighting up every room you walk into. Love you!”

The pic registered Tanita as a beautiful woman. According to Article Bio, she is a visual artist specializing in watercolor, ink, and digital art. Her passion is to paint and she is self-employed.

Tanita is a degree-holder after completing her college education at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. She acquired a degree in Associate of Arts- AA, Design, and Visual Communications there. Her works frequent her Instagram where she also often shares photos of herself.

Though her father is well-known, she remains low-key. Not much is publicized about her though she was believed to have a boyfriend in 2017 when she posted a photo with a man on National Boyfriend Day.

However, there is no sign of a man in her more recent posts so it’s unclear if she still has a boyfriend today.
