Drake Booed by Fans at Tyler, the Creator's Music Festival after Kylie Jenner Dating Rumors
Drake was treated poorly on Sunday as fans booed him off stage during a performance at Tyler, The Creator's music festival. The rapper and his host have since responded to the appalling behavior from concert-goers.
Drake was the surprise guest appearance at Tyler’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival on Sunday in Los Angeles, but fans did not seem to approve of the pick.

Following the event, social media users went online with videos from the awkward moment the crowd rejected Drake.
In one cringe-worthy clip, Drake is met with chants of "Boo" and "Noooooo" after performing a song. "Like I said, I’m here for you tonight," the rapper said to the not-so-enthusiastic fans. "If you want to keep going, I will keep going tonight. What’s up?"
After the unrelenting chants of rejection, Drake ended his set abruptly. "It’s been love. I love y’all, and I go by the name of Drake. Thank you for having me," he said, handling the situation like a pro.
According to Daily Mail, while fans at the show were informed of a surprise guest performance, they were most likely not expecting Drake, whose style of music differs from the rest of the indie-heavy lineup.
The rapper and Kylie – who is currently taking a break from her relationship with Travis Scott – reportedly connected at Drake’s birthday party.
Per Hollywood Life, it also appeared the crowd was expecting Frank Ocean as the surprise act. They reportedly yelled, "we want frank" several times during Drake’s performance.
Drake has since responded to the cold treatment he got, referring to the unimpressed fans as "kids." Alongside a series of Instagram photos, the rapper mocked:
"Plot twist...just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30."
Drake’s host, Tyler, has also addressed the situation in a series of expletive-laden tweets that reveal his displeasure at the festival crowd.
"I thought bringing one of the biggest artist on the [expletive] planet to a music festival was fire!" he wrote in all caps. "But flipside, a lil tone-deaf knowing the specific crowd it drew. Some created a narrative in their head and acted out like [expletive] when it didn’t come true, and I don't [expletive] with that."
Drake's ordeal at the music festival comes less than a month after the rapper was romantically linked with Kylie Jenner.
The rapper and Kylie – who is currently taking a break from her relationship with Travis Scott – reportedly connected at Drake’s birthday party in late October. The duo also met up again at Drake’s Halloween party only days later.
According to Hollywood Life, however, Drake and Kylie are just friends for now, and there’s no romance of any kind between them.
