Eddie Murphy's Ex-Wife Nicole Looks Gorgeous as She Debuts Her New Platinum Blonde Hairdo

Eddie Murphy's ex-wife Nicole Murphy is rocking blonde hair and not afraid to flaunt her new look. It's good to see the former model getting back to herself following the painful loss of her mother.

Nicole, 51, has been known to rock a cropped hairstyle for years, but the gorgeous grandma recently decided to switch things up by going platinum blonde.

Nicole recently shared a photo of her new do while thanking Instagram user Tracci, for talking her "into going platinum blonde."

A heartbroken Nicole announced via Instagram at the time that she had "lost the most beautiful person in the world" to her.

If the comment section is anything to go by, then the "Hollywood Exes" alum's new hair is a hit. Fans and celebrity friends couldn’t help gushing and expressing their approval of the change.

"Ok, @nikimurphy, I see you!!! Love it," wrote Shaunie O'Neal, star and executive producer of "Basketball Wives."

"You look like an angel," chimed in another Instagram user.

One impressed fan couldn't help raving:

"Yesss! I love this. Probably the one color I've never had. Maybe I should try it out as a wig first to see if it works for me."

According to Up News Info, Nicole was spotted with her blonde hair last week. The mom-of-five had stepped out to pick up some last-minute Thanksgiving treats in Los Angeles and reportedly pulled up the hood of her sweater after spotting paparazzi.

Days earlier, however, Nicole was not trying to keep a low profile during an appearance at ABC's Talk of the Town 30th Anniversary Gala honoring Eva Longoria.

As Daily Mail reported, the TV personality dazzled in a floor-length sequined dress. The outfit featured a low-cut neckline that showed off her cleavage and a scooped back that stopped just above her derriere.

At the time, Nicole was still rocking short brunette curls and accessorized with minimal jewelry and natural-looking makeup.

Nicole looked happy in photos from the event, a far cry from the socialite's mood in the early days of November when her mother, Ellen Mitchell, passed away.

A heartbroken Nicole announced via Instagram at the time that she had "lost the most beautiful person in the world" to her. The jewelry designer shared a picture of her late parents, followed by several throwback snapshots of the time she spent with them.

In the days that followed, Nicole threw herself into work and, of course, doting on her granddaughter, Evie, the first child of Nicole and Eddie's son, Miles.

Nicole was married to the ace comedian from 1993 to 2005 when the union ended in divorce. The exes share five kids – Bria, 29, Miles, 26, Shayne, 25, Zola, 19, and Bella, 17.
