David Beckham Slammed for Kissing 8-Year-Old Daughter Harper on the Lips at an Ice Rink

Fans criticize David Beckham after he shares a picture of himself kissing his eight-year-old daughter, Harper Beckham on the lips.

In June, Piers Morgan criticized David Beckham for kissing his daughter in a video posted on Instagram by his wife, Victoria Beckham.

The ever outspoken Pier's simply couldn't wrap his head around why David kissed her directly on the lips. Calling the display if affection "creepy," he also criticized the couple for posting the video in the first place.

David did not let previous criticisms about his affection with his daughter, Harper Beckham, deter him. Recently, after some bonding time with her at a skating rink, he captions the picture saying:

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ??.. Thanks to @nhm_icerink for looking after us today."

The father-daughter duo enjoyed an ice skating session at Natural History Museum in London. According to The Sun, the Beckham family is encouraging Harper to pursue her passion for ice-skating. A source reveals:

"Victoria thinks Harper is so talented at skating – she's bought her a pair of posh skates, a selection of ice dancing dresses and has even signed her up for lessons."

It is reported, months ago, David defended kissing his daughter, saying that he is very affectionate and kisses all of his children to show them that he loves them. Ready for the backlash a fan jokes:

"Watch all the people who got so offended by you kissing your own daughter on the lips get offended for a second time???."

Beckham and other doting dads, like Dwayne Wade and Tom Brady, have also been criticized for sharing images of themselves kissing their children on the lips. One fan has commented disapproving of the show of affection.

The photo which has reached over 1.8 million likes has had many people jumping to his defense after people reaction a few months ago while another fan shames him for his actions.

David's outing with his daughter comes amid financial struggles with wife, Victoria. It is has been revealed that the couple have made a combined loss of millions of dollars over the past year.
