Jennifer Lopez went with a black ensemble when she stepped out on Monday night for the Gotham Awards. As usual, the singer looked picturesque.
Jennifer Lopez, 50, attended the Gotham Independent Film Awards with hopes of securing a win for Best Feature for "Hustlers." The Netflix movie "Marriage Story" came out on top instead.
However, Lopez stole everyone's hearts when she showed up in a stunning off-shoulder dress with an updo to match. She shared the outfit on Instagram in a post found below.

The "Jenny From The Block" singer looked incredible in the sheer black piece with gold beading. The skintight dress from Ralph & Russo showed off her curves and featured black feathers all over.
She accessorized with a pair of long diamond earrings, a matching bracelet, and two rings on her forefinger, reportedly from Yeprem. Her nails were coated in black polish.
On her feet, Lopez wore a pair of peep-toe heels by Jimmy Choo. She styled her hair in an intricate updo and wore a fully glamorized face of makeup.
At one point, Lopez joined "Hustlers" co-stars Constance Wu, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles, and Lili Reinhart. The women all looked gorgeous as they enjoyed the first Awards show for the season.

Although they didn't win it, Lopez should expect future nominations for "Hustlers." When the film was released back in September, the performance from the singer/ actress was highly praised.
In response, Lopez told the LA Times that she's obviously "flattered." She added that the film's success brought her tears of joy, yet she was just doing something she loves.
Lopez took up another acting gig last week when she joined Kim Kardashian for a paid advert to promote Portal by Facebook. Fiancé Alex Rodriguez joined in as well.
In a short, hilarious clip, Lopez and Kardashian prepare to discuss holiday party secrets, but then Rodriguez walks in. He invites himself to the discussion, creating an awkward silence.
Then, as he's about to leave, he suggests they do this again another time. The two women make faces to each other via Portal, and the video soon ends.
