"The Voice" coach Blake Shelton took to Twitter recently to respond at the internet troll who whined about the way he used one word.

In a tweet that has since been deleted, the fan claimed that the word "sis" was overused and asking him to stop, urging the country superstar to answer in his usual, mocking reaction.

Shelton tweeted, "I have received your complaint and I am now digging in to my habitual vocabulary to remove it... But this could take awhile sis."

A lot of people chimed in, with the majority of them supporting Shelton.

Afterward, the fan tweeted a response that it was a joke and that she loves Shelton.

To which Shelton commented, "Whew... now we can be friends again!!!! I love you too sis!!!"

As reported by Country Living, making a stunning joke, or enable others to create one to his detriment isn't surprising for Shelton.

It's also not the first time that he clapped back at a fan on social media.

"Blake has this bed and breakfast hotel that we all stay at, and it's just pretty incredible."

Meanwhile, Shelton just celebrated Thanksgiving with Gwen Stefani, his girlfriend since 2015, Pop Culture reported.

The couple once again brought both of their families together for one major gathering. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Stefani said:

"We all fly out to Oklahoma, like 30 of us. Blake has this bed and breakfast hotel that we all stay at, and it's just pretty incredible. We have fun, we all cook together. It's fun."

Shelton added, "This'll be … I wanna say the fourth [year], but it might be more than that. We're taking all the Stefanis and then the Shelton bunch are gonna meet up there and just literally [spend] like, five days away."

Shelton and Stefani fell in love while serving as coaches on "The Voice."

Both of them announced their split from their former spouses a few months earlier.

Shelton and fellow country singer, Miranda Lambert, announced their split in July 2015. The former couple didn't have a child.

Stefani, who embarked on a solo pop career in 2004, filed for divorce from British rock musician Gavin Rossdale in August 2015.

She shares three sons with Rossdale - Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
