John Amos from 'Good Times' Is Now 79 and Looks Great in Brown & White Shirt in Photo with Adam Sandler

John Amos is looking good at 79-years-old in a new selfie he posted with Adam Sandler. The two men partnered up for a new movie called "Uncut Gems" which hits theaters on Christmas day.

John Amos has been quite busy in the past couple of months, as he's had numerous movie comebacks slated for this year and next.

John's colorful career has had a great run, but he isn't quite done yet.

JOHN AMOS' NEW MOVIE WITH ADAM SANDLER

His most recent appearance on "Uncut Gems" hits theaters on Christmas Day, on a movie with Adam Sandler and the Safdie brothers.

To promote it, he shared a rare selfie with Adam Sandler, with both men smiling as a treat to their fans. He captioned it:

"Many thanks to both you [Adam Sandler] and the Safdie Brothers for inviting me to have a small part of this amazing film. It is truly an honor!"

JOHN AMOS' UPCOMING MOVIE WITH EDDIE MURPHY

Aside from his film with Adam Sandler, he is also set to reprise his role as Cleo McDowell in Eddie Murphy's upcoming film, "Coming 2 America."

The first "Coming to America" film was released in 1988 and was directed by John Landis. It starred Murphy as an African prince named Akeem, who traveled to New York City to escape an arranged marriage.

JOHN AMOS' ROLE ON THE ICONIC "COMING TO AMERICA" MOVIE

Amos played Akeem's employer and the father of Shari Headly who played Akeem's love interest. The comedy film was a hit in the '80s, grossing almost $300 million worldwide.

Now, it will be interesting to see how John's character plays out in the movie sequel, and whether or not it'll be a hit like the first one.

JOHN AMOS' COLORFUL CAREER

John's colorful career has had a great run, but he isn't quite done yet. Aside from "Coming to America," he starred in "Good Times" in the mid-90s.

With more movies coming, he's clearly enjoying Hollywood as much as he can, and fans are delighted to still see him active after more than four decades in the industry.
