Pusha T and His Wife Virginia Thornton Are Expecting Their First Child Together in Spring 2020

Pusha T and his wife, Virginia Williams, will be new parents in a matter of months. The rapper and his bride shared similar holiday-themed illustrations to announce their good news to the world.

One year after tying the knot, it appears Pusha (birth name Terrence Thornton) and Virginia are now occupied with getting ready to become a family of three.

Pusha took to Instagram on Monday with a Christmas-themed illustration featuring a cartoon version of himself and Virginia sitting in a sleigh while his hand rests on her bulging belly.

"Happy Holidays. Baby T coming Spring 2020," read an inscription on the sleigh. The artwork also included a Christmas tree and two dogs wearing the traditional Santa Claus hat.

The clip was set to an unreleased Pusha track, with the rapper using the opportunity to tease new music. Per Billboard, the tune – titled "Self" – had Pusha rapping over Kanye West's "Follow God" beat.

The rapper's lyrics, some of which were posted in the caption, went thus: "Life goes on and babies born, and mine's on the way couldn't wait to say it in song. I don't question God’s love, 'cos every good and perfect gift is from above."

Virginia shared the same artwork as her husband, adding a second photo of the baby's sonogram. She also revealed that baby Thornton was due in Gemini season 2020, meaning it's sometime in late May/early June.

No word yet on whether the Thorntons are expecting a boy or a girl, but fans and friends have been piling on the good wishes for the parents-to-be on their respective social media accounts.

"My heart is so full! #BabyThornton on the way. Been waiting for this," gushed one well-wisher while another added: "Papa Push! Congratulations! God bless the fam."

Pusha, 47, and Virginia, tied the knot in July 2018 after many years of dating. According to Fader, the wedding was held in Pusha's hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and had several celebrities in attendance.

Singer Pharrell Williams was Pusha's best man, while famous faces like Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Trey Songz, Fabolous, and Grimes added color to the event.

The nuptials were officiated by Pusha's brother and fellow rapper, No Malice (birth name Gene Thornton), and the then-newlyweds walked into their reception to "Feel The Love."

Per Essence, Pusha and his groomsmen were outfitted in Dior suits while Virginia rocked a sleeveless Marchesa gown with a low-cut neckline. For her reception, the bride changed into a Reem Acra dress.
