Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew's oldest daughter is set to wed soon, and while she and her beau hosted their engagement bash after her return from Buckingham Palace, where she headed for the Queen's special lunch for Christmas, her pops was out of sight.

This gesture comes after the discovery of the Duke of York's scandalous relationship with a pedophile, Jerry Epstein. Prince Andrew also went under the reeks of the ever-watchful eyes of the media following his awful denial during a BBC interview.

ANOTHER ROYAL SCANDAL

The English monarchy is a structure that is critically reviewed and watched continuously by the media.

Recently, however, Prince Andrew was alleged to have a sexual relationship with an underage "Virginia Roberts" and taking her to a night club a few years ago.

Although the royal blatantly denied his involvement in any such acts on tv, his absence at the event meant that he intended staying away from any further confrontation by the media.

As a means of not creating an awkward situation at the party for his family, he decided to stay away. A royal source said:

"It could have put them in a difficult position. People close to him were also in fear of embarrassment…"

This is not the only hurtful decision the royal had to make; he also announced his renouncement of royal duties, which was granted by the Queen.

WHAT WENT DOWN AT THE PRE WEDDING BASH

This new development, however, didn't stop his appearance at the recent family gathering where he was pictured with his mother, Queen Elizabeth, as they rode on horsebacks.

Apart from the noticeable Prince's absence, the celebration was lit with the appearance of family members and friends gracing the event with their presence and style.

Sarah Ferguson and her younger daughter, Princess Eugenie, alongside other celebrities like Ellie Goulding, James Blunt, Robert de Niro, Sofia Wesley, all attended the Chiltern pre-wedding party.

In the course of their engagement announcement, the soon to be husband and wife made it clear that they are "both excited to be embarking on this life adventure," as they share "so many similar interests and values. "

FAMILY THROUGH THE GOOD AND BAD TIMES

Sarah's second daughter, 29-year-old Eugenie, is thrilled her sister has found her Prince Charming, as she shared the good news on her social media page, stating that they are a perfect match.

The girls are drawing strengths from each other in the bad times, too, as they agreed that they are highly disappointed but understand the consequence of their dad's act.

ANDREW'S DECISIONS IN RECENT TIMES

Although their father has stepped down from royal obligations and has discontinued his relationships with charities, he will still have his title as the Duke of York.

A royal source hinted that "He remains a member of the royal family." His decision, however, does not affect the position of his daughters although the pair do not have claims to the throne.

A ROYAL WEDDING

The Buckingham Palace has announced that 31-year-old Beatrice and her Italian lover will be saying their "I dos" next year.

Even though there is a bit of turbulence in the family, the royals do not intend to kick the beautiful experience for the soon to weds in the curb.
