Meghan Markle's Friend Janina Gavankar Took the Royals' Cute Christmas Card Photo with Archie
It's Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first Christmas as parents to adorable Archie, who stole hearts in the royal couple's holiday card. The person behind the joyous snap, however, turned out to be Meghan's longtime friend Janina Gavankar.
Janina is an actress apart from being a trained vocalist, pianist, and orchestral percussionist, and she became friends with Meghan before her days on "Suits."
The royal couple's Christmas card, which The Queen's Commonwealth Trust shared on Monday, is a black and white image of Meghan and Prince Harry seated in front of a Christmas tree. Archie seemingly crawled to Janina, who her rep confirmed to PEOPLE, took the picture at the perfect time.
The Theatre Performance major is all too familiar with social media, as Janina became the first actress to sign up to Twitter in 2006 on Richard Branson's computer on Necker Island.
“Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. From our family to yours,” the message on the sweet Christmas card from Meghan and Prince Harry read.
When the couple married in May 2018, Janina was there for the big day and posted a picture of her stylish outfit before she watched her friends "combine their hearts, forever."
The Christmas before they married, and the one last year, Meghan and Prince Harry spent at Sandringham. So, this year, the couple decided to spend Christmas with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland instead.
Buckingham Palace previously shared in a statement that the royal couple will spend "private family time" in Canada.

Not uncommon among royals, Prince Harry and Meghan's decision carry the full support of the Queen, as the palace added in their statement:
“The decision to base themselves in Canada reflects the importance of this Commonwealth country to them both. Whilst this email confirms the country they are taking their family time in, for security reasons we will not be releasing any further details and request that their privacy is respected.”
Janina Gavankar became known for her acting, as well as being the personification of Ms. Dewey, Microsoft's interactive search engine.
The self-admitted gamer recently appeared in the new hit television series, "The Morning Show" alongside Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, and is also known for her roles in the "Star Wars" films.
Former actress Meghan Markle knows Canada well, as she lived there during the filming of the series "Suits." With the royal couple spending their Christmas there, St Felix Centre in Toronto shared a never seen before picture of Meghan going incognito while volunteering for the charity.
Dressed in a puffy jacket and a baseball cap, the now-royal mom helped feed the homeless through their Community Meals Program. The royal couple also selected the center as one of 12 charities doing important work worldwide.
