Miley Cyrus & Cody Simpson Celebrate Christmas Together with Her Family Amid Breakup Rumors

Amid rumors that they have called it quits, singers Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson were together to celebrate Christmas.

In her Instagram stories, the “Wrecking Ball” singer shared photos of her and Simpson hanging out on a cozy couch in what appears to be her family’s home.

Cyrus also uploaded photos of herself with her family around the same time she shared the Instagram stories, so Simpson most likely spent Christmas with her new girlfriend’s family.

SPENDING THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS TOGETHER

“Happy Holidays from America’s most dysfunctional family,” Cyrus captioned the black-and-white holiday photos of her family.

The post amassed more than one million likes in just two days. The singer has 102 million Instagram followers.

The couple also spent their first Thanksgiving together this year, as reported by People. The “Pretty Brown Eyes” singer also joined the family’s festivities at their home.

SETTLED THEIR DIVORCE

Cyrus and her former husband Liam Hemsworth just recently settled their divorce on what would have been their one-year anniversary as a married couple, as reported by People.

Cyrus and Hemsworth tied the knot on December 23, 2018, after almost a decade of being together.

Simpson, who is five years younger than Cyrus, was photographed being with model Jordy Murray, Playboy’s December 2019 playmate, in New York City.

A FLING WITH A WOMAN

Before dating Simpson, who is an Australian like Hemsworth, Cyrus had a brief romantic relationship with Kaitlynn Carter, as reported by Pop Culture. Cyrus identifies herself as queer.

Cyrus had sparked rumors that she and Simpson had broken up after releasing a sad Christmas single titled, “Sad Christmas.”

On the same day of the song’s release, snapshots surfaced of Simpson hanging out with a Playboy Playmate, as reported by Pop Culture.

Cyrus has been a subject of all sorts of rumors. In 2018, prior to her wedding to Liam, she was rumored to be pregnant after she posted a racy set of Easter pictures.

It was not the first time that Miley became a subject of pregnancy rumors. In 2017, there were reports that she and her then-fiancé Liam were desperately trying for a baby.
