Wendy Williams celebrated her first Christmas as a single woman in Miami.

Wendy Williams is living her best life, and looking forward to a splendid 2020 after has probably been one of the most difficult years of her life.

The talk show host, who filed for divorce from her husband of 20 years, Kevin Hunter, celebrated her first Christmas as a single woman in two decades.

LIVING THE LIFE IN THE MIAMI SUNSHINE

While most of us were shivering and facing freezing temperatures for Christmas, Wendy was driving a convertible in sunny Miami, and she posted a selfie to prove it.

In the snap, Wendy is wearing glamorous dark sunglasses, her hair blowing in the breeze as she puts a slick dark blue sports car through its paces. She captioned it:

"Happy holidays, Miami! Beautiful people! ???"

In another snap, Wendy is lounging comfortably on a sofa in front of a Christmas tree as she peruses the room service menu in her hotel. She is wearing what she refers to as her "Whoopi Goldberg sweater" and dark grey opaque stockings.

Since filing for divorce, Wendy left the family's New Jersey home and moved into her own bachelorette pad in Manhattan with her cats. The single Wendy has even started dating, though Mr. Right is still elusive.

KEVIN HUNTER JR IS MOM'S BIGGEST SUPPORT

Her son Kevin Hunter Jr, 18, has stood by Wendy throughout her ordeal, and even ended up in a fistfight with his father over the way he has treated his mother.

Kevin was by her side when she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - another plus in a complicated year.

Wendy's professional life is going strong, with her talk show guaranteed for another two years.

WENDY WILLIAMS CELEBRATES THANKSGIVING WITHOUT "DEAD WEIGHT"

Wendy Williams and her son Kevin Hunter Jr. spent the Thanksgiving holiday with their extended family and Miami.

On her return to New York, Wendy posted a snap of herself on the plane looking happy and relaxed, and added in the caption that she had discovered her best self after discarding "dead weight."

The "dead weight" she is clearly referring to is estranged husband Kevin Hunter, who not only cheated on her and fathered a child on his mistress of ten years, but is believed by Wendy's close friends to have physically abused her too.

The birth of his love child was the last straw, and Wendy not only filed for divorce, but she also fired him too, and cut him off from all the cash he'd been using to support his lover.
