The early birthday celebration coincides with William and Kate’s annual tradition of setting aside a weekend at the start of the year to entertain their friends and family for a few days of fun country pursuits.
Also, the weekend usually includes a dinner hosted by the Queen at Sandringham. However, this time was different.

As noted by the Daily Mail, the Duchess celebrated her 37th birthday differently as she chose to have a family tea party at Kensington Palace.
The royal was said to have wanted to keep her celebrations low-key last year and opted for a small gathering with her three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Despite having a busy party weekend with friends and family, Kate didn’t fail to bring her epic fashion style along with her during her appearance at church on Sunday morning.
Harper’s Bazaar noted that for the church service, Middleton stunned in a gorgeous plum coat with peach detailing.
