Tika Sumpter wows at a Golden Globes after-party wearing a 60-s inspired white dress. The actress was also a stunner a few days later at an ABC event.

Tika Sumpter had every reason to be “just happy” with her most recent fashionable post where she looks gorgeous in a white floral mini-dress.

SIXTIES-INSPIRED

The actress put her best foot forward literally and figuratively channeling her beauty towards her Instagram followers who delighted in her look for Amazon Studios’ Golden Globes After-Party. Her haltered A-line dress inspired by the sixties and with floral appliqué is complemented by her white high heels that flaunted her legs. Tika’s hairstyle was also 60-s inspired. She even devoted a separate post to feature her coiffure.

Tika’s caption credits the people who made her look possible but also expresses exactly what she should feel. “She’s just happy. Thank you,” she writes. Tika’s vibe is “classic” according to one commenter on her page apart from those who said she looked, “beautiful,” and “stunning.”

Tika was equally captivating a few days later when she attended ABC’s TCA Winter Press Tour wearing a plaid blazer dress with split details. She flaunted her natural curls for the look which earned praises from publications.

HAPPY ACTRESS AND FAMILY WOMAN

The 39-year-old looker has every reason to be happy these days considering her thriving career and happy family life. Currently, the star of ABC’s “Mixed-ish”, a spinoff of “Black-ish,” the actress delights in portraying the mother of three children in the sitcom that isn’t afraid to tackle issues of racism, politics, and sexism.

Tika herself is an advocate against racism, having been a victim of people shaming her biracial marriage. She’s married to “The Haves and Have Nots” actor Nick James and she’s had to defend their union from critics who at one point labeled her a “bed-wench.” This term is often used on women who turn against their race to earn the affection of a White man.

In spite of the backlash they often receive, Tika and Nick happily live privately with their daughter, Ella. She’s three now and would sometimes grace her parents’ social media proving she’s the center of their existence and would do anything for her. Case in point, Halloween saw the couple dressing up as Kristoff and Anna from the film, “Frozen” to complement Ella’s Elsa.
