Christina Anstead of 'Flip or Flop' Fame Shares Photo of 1st Date with Husband Ant since Their Anniversary Last Month

Since their first anniversary, Christina and Ant Anstead finally found time to spend alone, away from the kids and other responsibilities.

With their busy schedule and the kids always being around, the Ansteads hardly get to spend time alone. However, they recently found a way around it and got to enjoy some alone adult time.

The couple celebrated their first anniversary in December last year and for the first time since then, they went out on a date on Saturday, January 11.

They commenced their date with electric bike rides to Fashion Island in Newport Beach, California. After the fun rides, they capped off the time with the movie, "Bombshell."

Christina Anstead took to her Instagram page to share the moment with her followers. She posted a picture of herself and her husband, Ant Anstead with the caption:

"Mom + Dad took a little time for ourselves yesterday - electric bike ride to fashion island (where we watched the movie "Bombshell" -so good) ... it's the first time we've had a few hours alone since our anniversary…"

In her post, Christina also opened up about her intention to make sure adult time alone doesn't become a one-time thing. She said it's time to make sure it is a priority.

Since they got married, the couple has been saddled with parenting duties as shortly after they tied the knot, they welcomed their first child together, Hudson.

After the birth of Hudson, the mother of three couldn't help but share her struggles with her newborn son, whom she considers the hardest of her three kids.

Christina decided to be honest about it and do away with pretenses of perfection. She took to her Instagram page to post a picture of herself and her sleeping Hudson. In the caption, she wrote:

"Newborn life is hard. It's not all Instagram filters of perfection that people put out there. F that. That's so misleading to new moms."

The "Flip or Flop" host met her husband, Ant Anstead, in 2017, not too long after she and her ex, Tarek El Moussa, announced their split, and it was love at first sight.

In December 2018, the actress and her husband tied the knot in a surprise ceremony after being engaged secretly three months before.

Altogether, the couple has five children, including Hudson, while Christina shares two of her children, Brayden James and Taylor Reese, with her ex-husband, Ant shares Archie and Amelie with his ex-wife, Louise Anstead.

Christina still works on the set of HGTV's "Flip or Flop" with her ex, and they have developed a healthy relationship as business partners and parents as they make it a priority always to put their kids first.
