Princess Beatrice of York Goes Heli-Skiing in Pakistan Before Her Royal Wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi
On Sunday, February 16, 2020, the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi revealed via social media that Princess Beatrice of York was in Pakistan. The Royal performed her duties while in the country for a sporty getaway.
Taking to Twitter, Alvi shared how Beatrice, 31, was in Pakistan leading a delegation to the country. However, the Royal was also there to partake in some heli-skiing.
Heli-skiing is said to be an extreme version of the winter sport that includes off-trail, downhill skiing. The difference with this activity from ordinary skiing is that the peak is only reachable by helicopter instead of a traditional ski lift.

Beatrice’s upcoming wedding
Besides letting her hair down, the princess is set to marry Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29, 2020, at the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace. The reception for the Royal wedding will be held at Buckingham Palace.
President Alvi shared images of Beatrice's meeting with other officials and himself. The Royal wore a navy patterned dress that featured long sleeves for the meeting.
Princess of York in Pakistan
According to reports, the princess visited Pakistan in her role as Vice President for tech firm Afiniti. Sayed Zulfiqar Bukhari, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, also tweeted a photo with Beatrice.
The images included the former Prime Minister of Spain, Jose Maria Aznar, and the former Prime Minister of Italy, Matteo Renzi. Princess Beatrice doesn't usually take part in official Royal duties.
Beatrice’s patronage
She is a patron of a number of organizations, including the Teenage Cancer Trust, English National Ballet School, and the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre. The Royal’s wedding is set to be a star-studded affair.
Meghan & Harry to attend wedding
Duchess Meghan, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, are believed to be some of the expected attendees. The pair are currently in Canada but “Hello! Online's” Royal Correspondent Danielle Stacey had this to say: "It's likely that we'll see the Sussexes return for the royal wedding.”
Harry & Beatrice’s close relationship
Stacey shared how close Harry was to his cousin and how they’d both attended her sister Princess Eugenie's wedding in October 2018. Guess we’ll just have to cross our fingers that the couple attends since they’re quite scarce lately.
At the beginning of the year, the Royal couple announced that they would become independent and step away from their senior roles.
