LIFE AFTER KATE & JON'S DIVORCE
In touch Weekly reports that one detail about the family' s reality show is that after their divorce, Kate simply dropped her ex-husband's part of the reality TV and focused on her and the Gosselin kids. The show was renamed "Kate Plus 8."
Things between Jon and Kate haven't precisely been amicable as they got into custody battles and issues on parenting methods.
In 2018, the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" stars got into a custody battle, which suggested that Jon make finances available for his brood, but he could not handle the significant expenses.
His girlfriend, Colleen Conrad, stepped in and helped him open a GoFundMe account, which stated that fame and fortune do not always go hand in hand, and Jon was an example.
Following the Gosselin divorce in 2009, Jon struggled with keeping up with his kids. During an interview in 2016, the celebrity dad revealed to Yahoo that he had a strained relationship with the Gosselin kids.
His relationship with Kate was nothing to write home about as he admitted that they hardly spoke to each other, and Kate did not stick to the end of the custody bargain.
According to Pop Culture, Kate and Jon's divorce stemmed from cheating allegations. The two continuously got involved in social media disputes.
