Janet Jackson Shares Tribute Post for Doctors, Nurses & Everyone on the Frontlines Working during Coronavirus Pandemic
Janet Jackson pays tribute to the frontliners working on trying to stop the spread of COVID-19 or the Coronavirus by thanking them on Instagram.
It's as if the world came to a complete stop because of the Coronavirus, with millions of families under home quarantine, schools, banks, and non-essential establishments closed, and hospitals and healthcare centers on full-capacity because of the growing threat of the pandemic.
At times like these, people are beginning to realize the value of those who work in the health center, and even those who work to keep the supply chain stable, such as grocery store personnel, pharmacists, delivery drivers, restaurant staff, and many more.
GIVING THANKS TO FRONTLINERS
One of those who decided to show appreciation to these frontliners is Janet Jackson, who wrote a lengthy tribute thanking them on Instagram. She decided to name all those who continue to work for the public, including nurses, doctors, hospitals, healthcare providers, cleaners, grocery clerks, teachers, managers, policemen, janitorial teams, reporters and journalists, security personnel, pilots, and flight attendants. She ended her post, saying:
"YOU are seen and forever appreciated. Thank U and please stay safe. Let's all keep the positivity up by remembering to keep smiling, laughing, singing, dancing, and spreading LOVE."
CELEBRITIES IN SELF-ISOLATION
The singer also made sure to update her fans about how she's chosen to self-isolate, revealing herself to be in London as she does her part in trying to stop the spread of the virus. Just like many other celebrities, she's been using her influence to try and encourage others to do their own parts, especially with frontliners risking their lives just to be of service to the general public.
Meanwhile, there have also been many celebrities who are trying to give back to their own communities, including Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos, who donated a million dollars to fund relief efforts for communities impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
GIVING AID TO THE NEW YORK GOVERNMENT
The money will be used to assist the New York government in providing ventilators for hospitals, and in providing aid to WIN, an organization that shelters at-risk women. Since the presence of Coronavirus in the US, New York is one of the hot spot states where the virus struck the most.
