Daily Mail: Kate Middleton's Brother James Postpones Summer Wedding Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Kate Middleton's brother James Middleton rescheduled his wedding that was supposed to hold this summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The current situation of the world amid the continuous spread of the coronavirus is making celebrities cancel concerts, talk show hosts cancel shows, sports associations cancel sporting activities, and now it has led to individuals postponing weddings.

Brother of the Duchess of Cambridge, James was set to wed his french lover, Alizee Thevenet, in a couple of weeks from now, after popping the question to her last year October with a sapphire ring.

James, a British entrepreneur, confirmed the news of their engagement with an adorable post featuring himself and Alizee during a vacation. He captioned it, "She said OUI…"

A close friend, however, explained that they have decided to change the date they will be walking down the aisle. According to the source, their Buckingham palace ceremony will be held when their guests are fit and safe to make it, following the global health crisis. The source said:

"It's very sad, but it's not just practical to hold it in this crisis...Holding an Anglo-French wedding is impossible in the coming months...and in the summer."

They may not be exchanging their vows as planned, but it doesn't change the fact that the couple is quite an item. Shortly after breaking up with his former girlfriend, Donna Air, Middleton met his soon to be wife at the South Kensington Club. The Duchess' younger brother engaged in a conversation with Alizee, who had no clue who James was.

Her incredible knowledge in investment and finance, which she has a master's degree in, and her ability to speak four different languages fluently, may be what got Kate's brother hooked. Before their engagement became public, they were spotted lip-locking with each other at an event.

Princess Beatrice and her Italian lover, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have postponed their reception.

Apart from practicing social distancing as instructed by the British Prime Minister, the business tycoon is also self-isolating with his dogs. He took to the gram to write under a cute upload of his dogs with napkins on their necks, during dinner time:

"Socialising while social distancing. Who wants to join? #bestdinnerparttever."

When it comes to using social media as an outlet to air his views, share his life, or gush on his older sister, James is more than ready to indulge.

In an attempt to promote one of Kate's recent projects that included questioning youngsters and helping them understand early childhood, the younger Middleton updated a post beckoning on his fans to support the Duchess.

James is not the only one who has considered rescheduling his wedding ceremony, Princess Beatrice and her Italian lover, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have postponed their reception set to hold after their Chapel Royal, St. James Palace wedding.
