Wayne Brady from 'Masked Singer' & His Family Take Part in 'Something New' TikTok Dance Challenge Amid the Pandemic
On Tuesday, Wayne Brady took to his Instagram account to show his dance moves while quarantined at home with his family. The short clip brought a lighter element during the coronavirus worldwide outbreak.
In the video, Brady, 47, and his family took turns taking part in the “Something New” TikTok dance challenge. “The Masked Singer” winner featured last in the clip where she showed off his smooth moves.
Also featuring in the dance challenge was Brady’s ex-wife Mandie Taketa, and their daughter Maile Brady. He captioned the post noting: “Take this family time and be safe! #stayhome.”

Featuring on The Masked Singer
Brady featured on season 2 of “The Masked Singer” as the Fox. According to the star, his own mother never suspected he was Mr. Fox but noted that the character sounded like him!
Talking about his time on the show, the star revealed how he’d always been a vocalist on past shows and wanted to show that off on the singing competition.

Brady might not be together with his wife anymore but the pair has an amazing relationship. Speaking about her role in his life he said: “I’m so inspired by Mandie, by what an artist she is and how smart she is.”
His best friend
He continued calling her his “best friend, my production partner.” When discussing co-parenting with Taketa, the comedian shared how she was “one of the most amazing moms, I think, that has ever walked the planet.”
Wayne’s Emmy nomination
Brady also credited his ex-wife for his successful career. In 2018, the star was nominated for an Emmy Awards for hosting “Let’s Make A Deal.”
A sweet moment with his daughter
After being nominated for the award for the same show since it started in 2009, Brady finally won. While giving his acceptance speech, the actor brought his daughter on stage and they hugged and had the sweetest moment.
One of Brady’s latest acting roles is as the Gravedigger on DC Comics’ “Black Lightning.”
