Jennifer Hudson's Ex Fiance David Otunga Shares Photo With Their Growing Son David Daniel Wearing Suit

David Otunga shared a photo with his and Jennifer Hudson's son, David to mark WrestleMania's biggest weekend of the year. Father and son looked handsome dressed in tuxedos in the photo.

Jennifer Hudson’s ex-fiancé, David Otunga and their son, David Daniel Otunga, Jr. looked dapper in tuxedos as they ushered in wrestling’s biggest event over the weekend.

In the midst of the Coronavirus threat, wrestling fans had the rare treat of witnessing this year’s WrestleMania 36 from the comforts of their homes. The pre-taped event was aired this weekend over WWE Network’s streaming service.

David, a professional wrestler himself, made sure to alert fans of the weekend’s highlight. He shared a photo of him and his son at a WrestleMania outing and wrote,

“#wrestlemania weekend begins tonight! The current state of things provides an opportunity for unique matches and increased creativity, which will no doubt make #wrestlemania36 a memorable one!”

The photo David shared featured a stadium with an audience that tells us it wasn’t a new photo. This year’s WrestleManila was pre-taped on March 25 and 26 at the WWE Performance Center training facility in Orlando without an audience.

David has been frequently sharing captured moments of him and his son on his social media. The 9-year-old has evidently grown since his parents split and began battling over his custody.

As the threat of the Coronavirus loomed, WWE decided to go on with the show but took into consideration the restrictions set by the government to prevent the spread of the virus. Thus, only participants and essential personnel were allowed inside the training facility when taping the matches.

The couple had dated for 10 years and were engaged in 2008. They parted ways in November 2017 with the singer accusing her ex of domestic abuse. She filed for a restraining order against David citing an incident when he got aggressive with her. David denied her allegations and was later cleared of any crime.

In July last year, the couple ended their court battle which lasted for over a year by reaching an agreement regarding David Jr.’s custody. They agreed to a 50/50 joint custody of the child with Jennifer paying David for child support. The amount was not disclosed.
