Amid the current global health crisis, Marlon Wayans, who is self-isolating with his family, has joined the growing list of celebrities who are calling out to Americans to stay safe during this challenging period.
The coronavirus pandemic has quickly become a global health crisis with over 1.3 million confirmed cases worldwide. In the United States, citizens have been forced into self-isolation as it continues to infect more people across the country.
The death toll recorded so far is rapidly approaching 11,000, and earlier in the week, President Donald Trump warned Americans to brace for more deaths from the Coronavirus.

Many celebrities in a bid to create more awareness and help stop the flow of the Coronavirus, have taken to their different social media accounts to educate their fans on what can be done during this period to curb the spread of the virus.
The usually bubbly actor Marlon Wayans recently took to his social media to sensitize his fans on the seriousness of the pandemic. He appeared in a somber mood as he dished out advice on how people can stay safe. Marlon captioned his post:
"..This message is for everyone but especially black folks. Covid is hitting our community at a 7 to 1 ratio."
The comedian recently made the news when he posted a video of himself dropping his pants during a living room performance by Jennifer Hudson, to a small gathering of people.
In the viral video, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson gave a powerful rendition of Aretha Franklin's 1968 track "Ain't No Way," which was accompanied by piano.
Marlon paid tribute to his "second Pops" John Witherspoon after the death of his "Wayans Bros" co-star.
When the delectable singer spotted what Marlon has done with his pants, she walked away laughing, and a voice in the background can be heard saying, "I hate you," supposedly directed at Wayans.
Hudson did manage to finish off the performance in between chuckles, while Marlon attempted to pull his pants down again. The "G.I JOE" star shared the video on his Instagram with the caption:
"@iamjhud is Best Karaoke singer ever. WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO. This woman sang my drawers off."
Marlon Wayans and Jennifer just completed filming the biopic titled "Respect," in which Hudson portrays the late Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin.
The movie, which is already being eagerly anticipated by fans, is scheduled to hit the cinemas on August 14, 2020.
Last year, the actor experienced tremendous loss. A deeply hurt Marlon paid tribute to his "second Pops" John Witherspoon after the death of his "Wayans Bros" co-star, at the age of 77.
Despite his grief, the comic actor expressed his gratefulness for the five years he spent working with "the funniest sweetest wisest humblest loving man."
