KISS vocalist Paul Stanley is reaching out to fans to wish his father a happy birthday after the older man turned 100 years old on Monday.

Stanley is currently self-quarantining with the rest of the nation due to the coronavirus pandemic. He shared a photo on Twitter of him and his dad, William Eisen. The post is found below.

In the picture, Stanley is stooping down next to his father, who's sitting in a chair wearing a blue polo shirt. "My dad is one hundred years old today!" he began the caption.

He continued: "He is an awesome man and I am so proud to be his son. We can't be together since it's not safe." He then asked his fans to wish his father a happy birthday.

Several people took time to say happy birthday to Eisen, with a few of them sharing more throwback photos of Stanley, 68, and his father. Some of them acknowledged the pair's rekindled father-son relationship.

When he's not focusing on family, Stanley is busy being a rock star. Last November, he took things to a whole new level when the band KISS performed in Australia for an audience that included sharks.

According to People, KISS and eight fans went to the coast of Port Lincoln in the south of the country in an area known for sharks. There, the band performed on a boat while the fans watched from a submarine.

Ahead of the event, Stanley told the Associated Press he'd heard that "sharks are attracted to low frequencies, and so they're attracted to rock n' roll."

Paying tribute to Kobe Bryant

Sometimes, Stanley combines his sense of sentimentality with his love for music. For instance, last month, he wore a Kobe Bryant Jersey while performing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Bryant, a basketball legend, passed away in a plane crash along with his daughter Gianna and seven others in late January. The sold-out stadium applauded Stanley's tribute.

We hope that the musician will soon be able to reunite with his father. Our good wishes go out to the new centenarian and we wish him a happy birthday.
