Prince William & Kate Middleton Voice Powerful Film about Mental Health during Pandemic
Prince William and Kate Middleton are raising some health awareness amid the coronavirus. They're doing so by encouraging people to look after their mental health.
In a video posted on their Instagram page earlier this week, the couple emphasized how sensitive things are. Most especially, they pointed out that staying home can be especially difficult on the mind.
It's an issue that a lot of people most likely understand. Staying home for weeks could make one miss the outside world, and it could take a toll on the mind.

The royals are advocating for people to prioritize their mental health. In part, they tout the Every Mind Matters campaign, which helps to provide mental health improvement tips.
Reports have it that the campaign has gotten some other notable sponsors. These include football star Jesse Lingard and reality show star, Nadiyya Hussein. In the moving clip, the Duke says:
"Every Mind Matters can help get you started with your NHS online plan and...help deal with stress, boost your mood, and feel on top of things."
Kate also encourages people to log on to the program's website. This way, they can access some practical action tips. Mental health has been one of the couple's most significant concerns.
Public Health England reportedly found that a significant number of locals worry about the pandemic's effects on their lives. So, the couple naturally felt responsible for helping out.
Harry and Meghan are pitching to provide relief too.
The Duke and Duchess have been advocating for mental healthcare extensively. They conducted a similar campaign back in March, via social media. Most importantly, they asked for people not to dally in seeking reliable help. They added:
"By pulling together, we can all be better prepared for the times ahead."
William and Kate aren't the only royals trying to lend a hand at this time. From across the pond, Harry and Meghan are pitching to provide relief too.
Reports recently confirmed that the Sussexes have donated over $100,000 to charity. The couple pulled the funds from their wedding broadcast revenues and donated them to Feeding Britain, a national charity.
Harry and Meghan's wedding was most likely the most talked-about of 2018. Estimates show that about 1.9 billion people tuned in to watch. They've also committed more broadcast rights revenues to charitable efforts.
