Jenna Bush Hager of 'Today' Says Savannah Guthrie Is Her Son Hal’s Godmother
Jenna Bush Hager of "Today" Show opened up about her friendship with her co-star, Savannah Guthrie. In a live chat, the mother of three explained that Guthrie is her son's godmother.
The continuous spread of the novel coronavirus has caused a redirect in many things, with people staying at home and avoiding social gatherings, TV shows can't go on in the studios with a live audience.
Thus many talk show hosts are anchoring their programs from a home base studio. Jenna Bush Hager is one presenter who recently joined the "Today" show cast, which included Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.

The women have continued to connect with their fans via live videos and chats, bringing a series of information to the forefront.
Recently, however, Jenna shared most of her personal experiences over the self-isolation week. First, she explained her closeness with Savannah. According to her:
"I've never said this before, but Savannah is Hal's godmother. We go to the same church; our faith is really important to us."
Jenna seems to have a cordial relationship with her colleagues. In the live chat, she explained her relationship with Hoda Kotb, stating how much empathy the TV personality showed when she lost her grandfather, former President George W. Bush.
Mrs. Bush revealed that the women on the "Today" show are her BFFs who would look out for her anytime any day.
She's been married for more than a decade, and shares two daughters, Mila and Poppy, as well as a son, Hal, with her husband, Henry Hager.
Hoda's adopted child, Hope Catherine, joined the team of "Today" babies last year.
Apart from being blessed with the best of friends, the onscreen personality has a great relationship with her husband, who makes sacrifices for the family when due.
She mentioned via an Instagram post that one important lesson she's learned is appreciating the little sacrifices and her man's effort. In her words:
"...I married a really good guy...last night he took our girls out for a walk while I was feeding Hal..."
The pair welcomed their son last year in August, and Jenna was excited to share the news of her first and only son. Hoda's adopted child, Hope Catherine, joined the team of "Today" babies last year also, some months before Hal's arrival.
It was the same month when Hoda welcomed her child, that Jenna replaced former co-host, Kathie Lee Gifford, on the daytime talk show.
Everything seems to be in place for the co-anchor, a beautiful marriage with a helpful husband, a great job, good friends and a suitable godmother, what more could she ask for?
