"Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie had a surprise guest with her on the show when she was joined by her 3-year-old son, Charley, to deliver the morning news.
The Thursday edition of "Today" turned out to be an adorable one when Savannah Guthrie's son, Charley, joined her on the show, leaving his mother's co-hosts pleased and smiling.
"Today Show" shared a clip of the moment when Charley joined his mom on the show, including the time he waved at the other co-hosts and captioned it, "Can Charley stop by every day?"

They also shared another video that showed Savannah with not just Charley, but her oldest child and daughter, Vale, 5. Savannah joked that her kids had multiplied, before prompting them to wave at her co-hosts.
In the caption to that post, "Today" show wrote, "Guess what! They've multiplied!" Savannah Guthrie also shared photos of her son and herself enjoying a mother-and-son bonding time, which she captioned:
"Little guest star makes a surprise appearance on TODAY today #newcohost."
Guthrie is working from home amid the COVID-19 pandemic after she decided to do so to be closer to her family during the tough period. She explained to her co-host, Hoda Kotb, why she wanted to work from home.
She said that her family was upstate, so she would stick close to them, and would be coming to the city less than before. Guthrie also said that authorities were advising people to work from home and that she would do so.
Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush are long time BFFs and are also next-door neighbors in Tribeca.
Guthrie shares her two kids with her husband, Michael Feldman, whom she married in 2014. She was previously married to Mark Orchard from 2005 to 2009.
The television personality didn't have a child until her 40s and opened up to People about that in an interview last year, saying that she always wanted to be a mom. Guthrie said:
"I always wanted to be a mom, and it took us so long to get married — we dated for so long — that we thought maybe it was too late and we’d lost our chance."
The 48-year-old added that she could now take her time and enjoy her kids, adding that her family felt so lucky to have each other.
Over time, Savannah Guthrie has built a special relationship with her co-hosts, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, and they all have a close bond with one another.
Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush are long time BFFs and are also next-door neighbors in Tribeca, but the close bond between them doesn't stop at that. It also extends to their children, with Jenna revealing that Savannah is her son Hal's godmother.
According to Jenna, asking her best friend to be her son's godmother wasn't a hard choice to make, because they attend the same church, and their faith was of utmost importance to them.
